About Us

Wild Hearts Craftworks is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Ian Denning and Donna Lindsey. After finding each other in the Green Mountains of Vermont, we moved to the Appalachians of Western North Carolina to be closer to family and to jump on an opportunity to build the tiny-ish home of our dreams.

Ian has 20+ years of experience in home repair, property maintenance, extensive knowledge in multiple trades, and a brain that loves to help find the solutions. He loves repairing and refinishing vintage tools as well as crafting unique furniture and art pieces out of wood.

Donna has experience in woodworking, kitchen + bath design, and a degree in Historic Preservation. She loves architecture, design, and super cozy spaces. She has always been fascinated with nearly every kind of craft, having even once designed and made ceramic tiles for her own backsplash. Recently, designing and building lighting fixtures has pulled her heart, with stained glass work a very close second.

Having had incredible, satisfying opportunities to work together in some of the finest inns and historic homes in VT, and now, finally having a craft-workshop space of our own here in WNC, we've decided to launch Wild Hearts Craftworks as our banner to continue growing our passions for both fine crafts and good works.
